- Niels has done extensive work on molecular dynamics thermostats and will give a talk on his recent results which definitively show his methods to be the best among all existing thermostats. He will also collaborate on an ER project which aims to develop a better approach for extended lagrangian time integration.

- Dr. Guermond will visit through the "TAMUS National Laboratory Office (NLO) Research Seed Funding (NLO-RSF)". He will be working on structure preserving numerical methods for PDEs of hyperbolic character.
