CEI has been working closely with Intel's OpenSWR team to fully integrate CEI EnSight with OpenSWR. In this talk, Sean Ahern presents CEI's work, including compatibility, performance, and future work.
Bio:
Sean Ahern is a senior developer with Computational Engineering International, the maker of the award-winning EnSight visualization system. Prior to joining CEI in 2014, Mr. Ahern was the Chief Data Officer for the University of Tennessee’s Joint Institute for Computational Sciences, the Executive Director of UT’s National Institute for Computational Sciences, and the Director of the NSF’s Remote Data Analysis and Visualization center. He was a staff scientist with Oak Ridge National Laboratory, serving as the visualization lead with the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility. Previously, Mr. Ahern was a staff scientist and visualization lead at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. He has won two R&D 100 Awards for his work on VisIt and Chromium. He holds degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from Purdue University.
