On the Quantification of Nomination Feasibility In Stationary Gas Networks with Random Load

Ruediger Schultz
University of Duisburg-Essen

RESCHEDULED: For stationary, passive gas networks, an algorithm to calculate feasibility probabilities of balanced nominations following Gaussian laws is proposed. The algorithm combines spheric radial decomposition with quantitative techniques from parametric optimization. This is joint work with Claudia Gotzes (University of Duisburg-Essen), Holger Heitsch and Rene Henrion (both Weierstrass Institute Berlin). Key words. Gas Pipelines - Mathematical Models, Nomination Validation, Gas Network Capacity, Uncertainty Quantification, Optimization under Stochastic Uncertainty. AMS subject classifications. 62P30, 62P20, 90C15, 90C31
