Phylogenetics 101 and its application to HIV forensics

Phylogenetics has been used for quite a while to reconstruct HIV transmission chains. Here I'll present some examples on how phylogenetics have been used to reconstruct criminal HIV transmission. I'll discuss powers and limitations, and present recent developments relevant to this topic.
