Everything you always wanted to know about the polyhedral model

Sanjay Rajopadhye
Colorado State University

The polyhedral model has been around for over a quarter century, and is now finding wide application in automatic parallelization of loop programs to multi- and many-core architectures. We will discuss the history and the main ideas behind the polyhedral model, and will describe what we are doing in the area of codesign for GPGPU.
