Novel types of magnetic sensors with ultra-high sensitivity
Todor KaraulanovP-21, APPLIED MODERN PHYSICS
I will present a new development in magnetic field sensing with atomic spins. Magnetometers based on NV (nitrogen vacancies) centers in diamond, SERF (spin exchange relaxation free) scheme, and ensembles of cold atoms will be described. Applications to biological objects and towards solving some security challenges will be presented.
