Quadrature domains and shape reconstruction

Charles Martin
University of California, Santa Barbara

A quadrature domain is a subset of the complex plane upon which integration of analytic functions requires only finitely many point evaluations. We'll discuss a bit about the theory and intuition behind the domains themselves (via 2D fluid dynamics). From there we'll discuss a few practical results in domain approximation and current work in the subject.
