Kinetics of peptide folding in dehydrated and crowded environments

Feng Gai
University of Pennsylvania

Macromolecular crowding is one of the key characteristics of the cellular environment and therefore, is intimately coupled to the process of protein folding in vivo. In this talk, I will discuss our recent study on the effect of molecular crowding and confinement on the kinetics of peptide folding and aggregation.
