ELKIN conference is a biannual international meeting organized by the International Community of Electrokinetic Phenomena. The symposium was initiated more than twenty-five years ago and has established its reputation as the leading international event devoted to Electrokinetic phenomena and their applications in many fields of science and technology. A small and focused meeting, it is known to host selected scientists based on their scientific merits and achievements. A number of recent scientific breakthroughs and new technologies have been either developed or initiated based on technical presentations and discussions at different ELKIN conferences. Papers accepted for presentation at ELKIN are greatly accepted by the international scientific community and always compiled in a special issue of one of the international peer-reviewed journals, e.g., Journal of Colloid and Interface Science or Journal of Colloids and Surfaces.
