The Laboratory has a contract with Budget which provides liability, collision and loss coverage on all official Laboratory rentals at NO EXTRA COST. Travelers must provide the LANL customer number and make their reservations under that number. Please contact the conference coordinator for further information. When renting through Budget under the LANL contract, travelers should DECLINE coverage when offered, as the purchase of additional insurance is not necessary and cannot be reimbursed by the Laboratory. Should you rent a car through another company, LANL will reimburse up to a base rate of $38 per day.
