Ski areas
Los Alamos's own
Pajarito ski
area is only a 15 minutes drive from the CNLS. This area offers a variety
of slopes for different skill levels. If there is not enough snow at Pajarito,
a number of other ski areas are within easy driving distance, including
Taos
(~1.5
hour from Los Alamos) and Wolf Creek in southern Colorado (~3 hours from
Los Alamos).
