Cyber-Physical Systems Architecting: The -Ilities, Modeling, and Many-Objective Optimization

David Curry
Missouri Univeristy of Science and Technology

The cyber-physical systems architect faces a challenge from the large number of objectives that define the performance of the final solution. These objectives are often called the ``-ilities'' and they not only create a complex architecture solution trade-space, but more significantly they cause Pareto breakdown. A cyber-physical systems modeling and optimization approach is presented along with a tool implemented upon it.
