The Center for Nonlinear Studies at Los Alamos National Laboratory is pleased
to host the "Excited State Processes in Electronic and
Bio NanoMaterials" conference to be held June 29
- July 3, 2009. The meeting is organized by Sergei Tretiak, Avadh Saxena, and Richard L. Martin. Adam Shipman is the conference
coordinator.

Attendees and speakers may make their individual sleeping room reservations using one of the following methods:
Attendees must make their reservations by the cut-off date of Friday, April 17, 2009 and mention the CNLSAnnual Conference to receive the special group rate of $107.50 per night.
Individual reservation requests will be confirmed only if guaranteed with a valid credit card or deposit by check or money order. La Fonda accepts the following credit cards: American Express/Optima, Diners Club, Discover Card, MasterCard, or Visa. They do not charge an advance deposit, though they do charge one night’s room and tax should an individual cancel within 48 hours of their arrival. This will be stated on the confirmation, which will be sent once a reservation is made. The confirmation includes directions to La Fonda.

The major airport for travelers coming to Santa Fe is Albuquerque International Airport, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, about 60 miles south of Santa Fe (50 minute drive). Albuquerque Airport (ABQ) has car rental facilities and a shuttle terminal.

Park and Ride from Los Alamos:
The Blue Route of the Park and Ride bus is an excellent way to get from the Lab to the conference and back each day. It costs $3 each way and will be virtually empty as you will be riding opposite of commuter traffic. It will pick you up from either the Los Alamos Library or the TA-3 parking front gate parking lot and drop you off at Sheritan and Palace (a few easy blocks from the conference location).
