Hotel

The conference will be held at the Hilltop House, Los Alamos Best Western. Lodging rooms are also available for a special conference rate of $78 plus taxes. A room block has been set aside at the hotel for this conference. Please make your own reservations.

Below are room details for the Quantum Trajectories Group Block along with a brief description. All of our rooms are complete with a refrigerator and microwave.

BUS: A business room consist of one king bed. It comfortably accommodates 2 people.

DQ: A double queen room consists of two queen beds. It comfortably accommodates up to 4 people.

The cutoff date to make reservations has been set at July 13, 2008.
After this date we can no longer guarantee rooms or rates.

Transportation

The major airport for travelers coming to Los Alamos is Albuquerque International Airport, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, about 100 miles south of Los Alamos (1.5 - 2hrs drive by car or 2 - 2.5 hours ride by shuttle).

The local shuttle company to Los Alamos is Roadrunner Shuttle. Reservations are required, as they do not have a regular schedule to Los Alamos. The fee is between $75 and $120 per person each way, depending on how many people are in the shuttle. They do not have a website for online reservations, but their phone number is:

Albuquerque Airport (ABQ) has car rental facilities.

If driving from Albuquerque, take I-25 North, to Santa Fe. You need to get on US 284/285. To do that you can use the Santa Fe Bypass (NM 599) which bypasses Santa Fe, or get off I-25 at St. Francis Drive and follow St. Francis Drive through Santa Fe until it becomes US 284/285.

In Pojoaque take NM 502 towards Los Alamos town site.

After passing the local airport on the right, the road comes to a Y intersection splitting into Trinity Dr (on the left) and Canyon Rd. on the right. The conference hotel is right at the Y intersection.
