On-Site Lodging:

You are strongly encouraged to stay on campus - those staying on campus will receive breakfasts and lunch as part of their lodging fee. To reserve lodging, you must submit the Payment and Lodging Reservation Form.
Accommodations include private and semi-private rooms (details below). Please contact us (email) as soon as possible if you have any special needs. Smoking indoors is not allowed on campus.
The cost of on-campus lodging is fixed (details below) regardless of the duration of your stay. The earliest check-in time is Noon on Wednesday, August 5, and the latest check-out time is 10:00AM Monday, August 10th.
Additional information about lodging and staying at St. John's College is available at this web site: http://conferenceservices.sjcsf.edu/cnfservqbio.htm However, please direct questions about lodging to the conference organizers (email).
On-site Accommodation Options and Costs:
Except for the Singles and Family Apartments, prices are a total per sleeping room, not per dwelling. For example, a Double contains two seperate sleeping rooms at $250 each. All prices include a daily full breakfast and lunch and are listed as the total cost for all five nights of the conference. The rate also includes all taxes and fees (as a reference, local taxes are 14.9375% and the campus fee is $15). The rate is not a nightly rate and must be rented for all five nights regardless of your actual attendance.
q-bio 2009 has been extended to 5 days with 5 nights of lodging to accomodate the increased interest.
Housing costs are increased this year due to the extra night of lodging required by the longer conference in addition to a slight rate increase.

Off-Site Lodging:
We recommend staying on campus if it is possible. Due to the popularity of Santa Fe in the summer, vacant hotel rooms can be difficult to find in August. The closest hotels are 2 miles away.
Orbitz will list hotels by distance from St. Johns.
Another interesting local option about 3 miles away is The Chapelle Street Casitas which has small studios for 1-2 people or small houses for up to 4 people. They are less expensive than the hotels.
