Founding Workshop: Dec. 11-13, 1998

• Identify ten to twelve candidate exploratory workshops and workshop leaders

• Identify initial summer school and summer school organizers

• Propose candidates for Steering Committee whose initial task will be to write proposals for funding agencies and Foundations, based on input from this workshop and members of the Science Advisory Committee.

• Propose candidate modes of organization and funding

• Steering Cimmittee in place

• Submit one or more proposals for funding of first year or more of operation

• Obtain UC/Los Alamos support for initial goup of ICAM Fellows and Advertise competition for same
