Workshop on:
Self Organizing Biomolecules:
The Evolving Picture
January 13-18, 2002
La Fonda Hotel
Santa Fe, New Mexico USA
Description of the Meeting:
The workshop will focus on open questions and new results in the fields
of protein folding, aggregation, protein dynamics, RNA structure and folding,
membranes and membrane proteins. We will also be discussing the next fruitful
directions for the experimentalists and theorists working on self-organizing
biomolecules. The workshop is sponsored by the Institute for Complex Adaptive
Matter (ICAM), a distributed "Institute without Walls", an independent
unit of the University of California, devoted to the search for the organizing
principles that govern emergent behavior in matter, be it biological, chemical,
or physical. It is supported by a Grant from the National Science Foundation.
