This year's conference will bring together a diverse group of researchers to discuss the general physical, chemical and computational concepts and techniques evolving to gain insight into macromolecules and to elucidate their role in diverse physical phenomena. Specific emphasis will be on the statistical characterization of macromolecular structure, dynamics and applications which bridges multiple length-scales. In particular, this conference will address microscopic features such as molecular structure, electronic and optical properties, dynamics and conformation statistics of macromolecules, along with meso- and macroscopic applications (e.g. fluid mechanics of polymer solutions and melts) and theoretical and experimental tools for characterization (e.g. spectroscopy, neutron scattering) of these diverse multi-scale phenomena . |
