Title: Genome-scale analysis of protein-protein interaction networks

Abstract:

High thoughput experimental techniques such as HT-Y2H and TAP-MS now generate data about protein interactions at genome scale, which provides information for investigating global dynamics of protein interaction networks. In a theoretical approach, we present a biochemical model that describes the equilibrium of protein interactions. The model can be used to study general properties of protein association/dissociation networks under various conditions. We apply this model to illustrate network behavior in response to disruptions caused by knockouts or overexpressions.
