This workshop will focus on recent developments and ideas to control Casimir and van der Waals interactions both in surface-surface and atom-surface contexts.
Topics of interest will be:
- Casimir Neutralization and Repulsion
- Critical Casimir Forces
- Dynamic Control
- Novel Casimir Materials
- Micro and Nano Applications, etc.
Discussions among theorists and experimentalists will be fostered.
Posters will be on display for part of the conference. There will not be a formal poster session. Poster abstracts are now being accepted on the Registration page.
This will be a satellite workshop of the QFEXT '09 conference.
