Tuesday, February 22, 201112:30 PM - 2:00 PMCNLS Conference Room (TA-3, Bldg 1690) Seminar Coherence, Entanglement, and a really dumb way to do quantum imaging. Daniel JamesUniversity of Toronto In this talk I will review some basic ideas about using partially coherent light for imaging (for example Michelson stellar interferometer, Hanbury-Brown-Twiss effect) and discuss new, analogous effects involving entanglement of light.
